About the company
This week we are introducing CoffeeToBusiness! They help online businesses by building performant, scalable and engaging websites and apps. So far they’ve been around for nearly three years and have worked with startups such as Leadbubble, GroupX, Everlinks, hashtagCapture and many others!
CoffeeToBusiness provides a wide range of services and solutions to help organizations facilitate change, achieve their vision and optimize their performance, as well as productivity.
To find out more about the company culture and hiring processes, we spoke to Chandra Prakash, the Co-Founder and CEO of CoffeeToBusiness. He explained us that CoffeeToBusiness’s mission is to build a one-stop solution for startups and SMEs who want to start their business online.
The general idea behind the startup is quite simple, however, we wanted to know what’s special and unique about CoffeeToBusiness. “Everyone is unique on their own, as we are unique in our culture. We are trying to build a people-first company. We are a team of 8 people right now, focusing on things that make our clients want to work with us in the first place”, says Chandra. “Main reason being our innovative idea! We are a one-stop solution, which is based on assumption, where many businesses tried but failed. We are on the way to providing a simplistic approach to the startup to get all the online services they want quicker and easier”.
When asked what is it like to work at GCoffeeToBusiness, Chandra revealed the team feels like a group of friends. “It’s very fulfilling to work together towards a mutual goal and get along like friends”.
CoffeeToBusiness is a fully remote company where everyone works from home. “Evens as a founder, I work from a remote village in India”, shares Chandra.
Knowing the company is fully remote, it was easy to guess that so are their recruitment processes. When asked about details of their hiring operations, Chandra reveals that he is a big skills-based hiring supporter. “Firstly, the most important hiring trend these days is skills-based hiring. We always hire based on candidate’s qualifications, their work experience and education background is not a priority”.

When it comes to the recruitment process, Chandra shares it usually starts with CV screenings. Once they find the right candidate, they can expect an introduction call, one or two technical interviews and lastly a talk with HR.
